Author Guidelines

General publication terms

  1. The Editorial Board accepts for publication the research papers that have not been published before.
  2. The article must be formatted in accordance with the «Requirements to the Articles», which are submitted to the journal «Ekonomichnyy analiz».
  3. The priority for the publication of articles in the journal is given to the publications prepared in the ENGLISH LANGUAGE!
  4. An article in English must be duplicated (accompanied by a translation) in Ukrainian.
  5. The editorial board reserves the right to carry out technical, scientific, linguistic editing of the submitted articles.
  6. In case of the reviewers’ recommendations and suggestions the author must send his corrections within ten working days from the date of sending the letter by the editorial staff.
  7. The publication of individual articles may be carried out on a fee basis for the pre-printing preparation of the manuscript and replicating the article.

The submission deadlines of the journal «Ekonomichnyy analiz»:

  • Issue № 1 until April 5 of the current year.
  • Issue № 2 until May 16  of the current year.
  • Issue № 3 until October 10 of the current year
  • Issue № 4 until December 10 of the current year.

Article processing charges (APC)

All articles published in our journals are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the range of publishing services we provide.The fee for articles is UAH 2500. This includes provision of online tools for editors and authors, article production and hosting, liaison with abstracting and indexing services, and customer services. The APC , payable when your manuscript is editorially accepted and before publication, is charged to either you, or your funder, institution or employer.

Upon editorial acceptance of an article, the corresponding author (you) will be notified that payment is due. 

Package of documents to the article

For publication in the scientific journal it is necessary to submit such materials to the e-mail address mail.econa@gmail.com:

  1. the article;
  2. the author's abstract of the article in English;
  3. the information (extended information) about the author;
  4. a review or an extract from the protocol of the department (for authors who do not have a scientific degree);
  5. an electronic copy of the payment documents (the payment requisites are reported after the acceptance of the article).

File names must contain the author's last name (for example: Fisher_article.doc; Fisher_rezume.doc).

In the absence of one of the listed components, the presence of a large number of stylistic, spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as incorrect technical formatting, which does not meet the requirements, the materials will not be considered by the editorial board.

The accepted for reviewing manuscripts are peer-reviewed and obligatory undergo the plagiarism procedure.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Copyright Notice

License terms: authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a  Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY-NC that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal. 

If the article is accepted for publication in the journal «Ekonomichnyy analiz» the author must sign an agreement on transfer of copyright. The agreement is sent to the postal (original) or e-mail address (scanned copy) of the journal editions.

By this agreement the author certifies that the submitted material:

  • does not infringe the copyright of other persons or organizations;
  • was not previously published in other publishing houses and has not been submitted for publication in other editions.

The author passes the editorial board of the journal «Ekonomichnyy analiz» rights to:

  • publication of the article in Ukrainian (English) language and distribution of its printed copy;
  • translation of the article into English language (for articles in Ukrainian language) and distribution of its translated printed copy;
  • distribution of the article electronic copy, as well as electronic copy of the article English translation (for articles in Ukrainian), via any electronic means (placing on the official web-site of the journal, electronic databases, repositories, etc.) printed copy of the translation.

The author reserves the right without the consent of the editorial board and founders:

  1. Use the materials of the article in whole or in part for educational purposes.
  2. Use the materials of the article in whole or in part to write their own dissertations.
  3. Use the materials of the article for the preparation of abstracts, conference reports, as well as oral presentations.
  4. Place electronic copies of the article (including the final electronic copy downloaded from the official web-site of the journal) to:
  • personal web-resources of all authors (web-sites, web-pages, blogs, etc.);
  • web-resources of institutions where authors work (including electronic institutional repositories);
  • non-commercial web-resources of open access.

In all cases, the availability of a bibliographic link to an article or hyperlink to its electronic copy on the official website of the journal is compulsory.

Your privacy is important to the journal «Ekonomichnyy analiz», and we are committed to respecting that privacy. This statement describes the personal information practices for the Website of  «Ekonomichnyy analiz», including what type of information is gathered and tracked, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.

Privacy policy

The user can visit the Website of the journal «Ekonomichnyy analiz» without registering, or providing any personal information. 

The user can also choose to give the journal «Ekonomichnyy analiz» site and apps personal information such as name and email address by filling in the query or the feedback form so that the journal may correspond with the user if the user wants information. Our site's and apps' registration and query form requires users to give us personal information such as their name, email and demographic information such as their address and telephone number. The user's personal information is used to contact the visitor as and when necessary. This personal information also allows us to inform you about updates to the service and further additions on journal. We maintain this information as private to the best of our ability. Journal does not sell email addresses of registered users, share user information with an advertiser or another web site. 

Security

Some of your personal information is stored at a data centre managed by our third party hosting company. The data centre managed by our third party hosting company is specifically designed to be physically secure and to admit authorised personnel only, who are contractually bound to keep all of our data confidential.

Access to our customer databases is only given on a 'need to know basis'.

Updating your details

If any of the information that you have provided to OUP changes e.g. if you change your e-mail address you may update your account details online on the Website or by contacting e-mail.

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy. Any changes we may make to this privacy policy will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
